ANASTASIA ZAVITSANOS
ACTRESS
I’m a Texan and a Houstonian and also pretty Greek. They say at age 3, I grabbed the mic at a Greek Festival and shouted Opa! from the stage to the delight of many, including myself. As a teenager I really became hopelessly intoxicated with acting after doing a stunningly fabulous job playing the Witch in Into The Woods.
At the University of Michigan, I’ve had film and stage experience. I also, of course, am certified to fight with a sword on stage. I kickbox and I meditate. I go running most days and I paint with acrylics. I Greek dance and I won a national speech competition opining on the cheery topic of martyrdom. My artist mother lent me her expansive creativity and humanity. My lawyer father taught me to laugh and always keep moving. I’m ready.
